The authors examine the question of the Soviet Union's relations -- past, present and future -- with Finland, the Baltic States and Poland. Their review of the issues involved is on the whole impartial and well-informed. They find that the Soviet's arguments in favor of extending its frontiers westward contain logic and justice.
