New Fabian Essays

An effort, by a group of Labor Party intellectuals, to rethink Socialist theory in the light of mid-twentieth century problems. Of particular interest is Denis Healey's essay on the problem of foreign policy--a subject comfortably neglected by the earlier generation of Fabians.
