What's Wrong with U.S. Foreign Policy
Mr. Sulzberger, diplomatic columnist for The New York Times, does not here attempt a general assessment of United States foreign policy but is concerned with pointing out shortcomings, blunders and misguided efforts--something he does at considerable length and with a good deal of feeling. While he argues that diagnosis serves a useful function even if no prescription is at hand, this medical analogy--that there are recognizable "ills"--may not be fully applicable to international affairs.
