The Political Economy of North Sea Oil

Two Scottish economists analyze the likely costs and revenues of Britain's oil fields in the North Sea and argue strongly that the revenues should not accrue to London, but in considerable part to Scotland, which has long been impoverished and which otherwise would benefit only incidentally from North Sea oil.
