A better book than its notoriety suggests. Much of the material for this account of the disintegration of the Nixon presidency comes from interviews and is not directly attributed and, therefore, not subject to verification. There are a few very short passages of questionable taste about the personal lives of Nixon and his family. But, on balance, the book conveys a sense of reliability.
