Clash Over Romania: British and American Policies Toward Romania, 1938-1947
Diligent research in British and American published and archival material makes this monograph the most informative account available on British policy toward Romania on the eve of World War II and Anglo-American policies during and after it, although the focus is rather narrow and the story of the U.S. role in the "abortive coup" against the Groza government in 1945 is overdrawn.
