Communist Indochina and U.S. Foreign Policy: Postwar Realities
Although written before the Vietnamese invasion of Cambodia, the authors anticipate the possibility and suggest that Vietnamese rule over all of Indochina is not necessarily contrary to U.S. interests-provided a united Indochina maintains its independence from the Soviet Union and does not threaten Thailand. The question now is whether these two conditions are going to be met.
