Israel-Latin American Relations
An analysis of Latin American political support for Israel through voting in international bodies, concluding that "the pay-offs in terms of Latin American support for Israel have been consistently higher than those . . . of Afro-Asian countries, where Israel invested greater resources." This is most true of the smaller countries such as Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Uruguay, and least so of the major, more highly developed ones.
