Czechoslovakia's Role in Soviet Strategy
New material and laborious research by the author make this a book other scholars cannot ignore, although they may not accept all its premises and its judgments. It is more a history of Czechoslovakia's international position and policies from 1918 to 1968 (with stress on the role of Edvard Beneš, for whom the author has no respect or sympathy) than a study of Soviet strategy, which is presented in simplified form.
