A veritable potpourri of material on Poland since December 1981. Most of the selections are from the underground press; some are from the government side; some come from outside observers, Polish and non-Polish. All of them bear on the continuing resistance to the regime and on the debate concerning the nature of that struggle. The book would have benefitted from additional explanatory notes.
