Energy Unbound: A Fable for America's Future

Reviewed by William Diebold, Jr.

Plato got by with some dialogue that did not sound very natural, but the quasi-fictional approach of this book has not much to be said for it. The material on energy is good, as one would expect from the Lovinses, who have been pioneers in the exploration of alternative energy sources, conservation and the like. But after the first chapter, the "fable" has neither drama nor moral.
