La Escuela De Chicago: Operation Chile
A detailed, well-documented and highly illuminating account of how a group of Chilean economists, trained at the University of Chicago after 1956, came to exert extraordinary influence on thinking about economics, society and politics in their country during the 1970s and 1980s. The author, who prepared this study as a doctoral project at Princeton, is now Chile's ambassador to Spain.
