Course Description
This interdisciplinary seminar is the ‘gateway' course for the M.A. program in International Affairs (IAP). It consists of a series of integrated units and individual presentations by members of International Affairs faculty, together with the course supervisor (M. Marcus).
Aims: The seminar aims to achieve the following:
1) to introduce IAP to the study of international affairs at a basic conceptual and methodological level;
2) to enhance one's understanding of major global trends and their historical and socio-political framework;
3) to refine one's ability to write coherently and critically about diverse topics in international affairs, through the effective use of sources and rigorous argumentation.
