The End of the Affair?

Obama is entirely right to cold-shoulder India. Long may he do so.

India plays the game of expecting the US to be committed to it while never committing itself to the US. It received scores of billions of dollars of US aid, but steadily gloated over the US predicament in Vietnam. It refuses to distance itself from Iran, yet expects the US to distance from Pakistan. Etc.

India is a volcano of misery and impending chaos, and the Us would be extremely rash to link any serious US interests to India's fate.

India ought to be able to defend itself. If it can't, despite having 1200 million people, the US has no reason to take it seriously.

I think Indians should rather focus more on their economic development than going overboard to be recognised as a global power in the eyes of US and other western powers. India is yet to lift significant part of it's population out of poverty, build world-class social, physical, economical and institutional infrastructure. India needs to get rid of feudal politics, dynastic politics, it further needs to decriminalise it's politics, it needs to hammer out insensitive bureaucracy.

Then India will naturally draw attention of world community - that I think is the way to go. India has already started showing promise - which I think world community has already taken note of.

Whatever importance china is recieving is strongly rooted in it's economic resurgance - so much so that world community can not ignore them anymore, compare china of 70s to today -see the difference for youself. When you become significant you are automatically respected.

No doubt india has done remarkably well on socio-economic front over the past two decades within it's democratic framework, considering it's ethnic, linguistic and religious diversity - a kind of democratic growth model US proudly preaches to world. India has to continue this good work and continue to grow at 8 to 10 percent, then india is destined for bigger role by 2030 - too important to be ignored by anyone.

Obama has proven himself to be a protectionist and socialist president, unfairly targetting India on outsoucing. He has an unenviable task of presiding over sinking American capitalism and economic might - he has clearly spelled US's foreign policy towards india. He is inclined to re-hyphenate India with Pakistan - which I think is a gross misjudgement, to which Indians have not taken to kinldy - righly so. Finally Obama is an elected president of US, it his his prerogative to decide what is important and what is not important for US - he will decide not India!

In a nutshell become singnificant enough to not to be ignored, there is no point is seeking attention deliberately or voluntarily.

Ignore OBAMA and focus on economic developement!! everything will fall in place in 2 decades from now - hoping that Indian growth is sustained at current rate(8 to 10 %)

Although the response from the USA has been cold shoulder one.May be it is the mistrust of Past that two Nations are finding sometimes themselves in a confused state of mind qua where to go.But Mr. George Bush and M. Manmohan Singh both made an extra effort to have closer strategic ties.Some results were there. Now India is a democracy but it has been seen in past that USA has been siding with dictators and non democratic establishments in South East Asia, wether it was Pakistan or even if it is China.or a country like Afganistan which is live battle ground for testing and training for war games and and excuse to stay in the area. These two writers need to go into the depth of the US policy and not give an article for the sake of writting.US Presidents are subservient to CIA as it has come out in open in past and recent confessions of US administration and Pakistan President Zardari that CIA created Talibans to Fight Russians out of Afganistan.It was the scene when Russia was On the other side of the US and even China.China wanted to Pull Russia out of Afganistan and so got involved USA also.America out of its vengeance against cold war adversary USSR put its might to put Russia out of Afganistan.Pakistan was the common ground from where China and USA fought the proxy war in Pushing Russia out of Af. China and Pakistan were allies because India and Soviet Union were allies.Yes America got an opputunity to taste the ground realities in and around China.And Pakistan military got the taste of US and Chinese money to flourish and play games.During this period the ISI and Pak army started using this cold war tactics In India.Now Pakistan went one step further and created Jihad now culminating into World class terrorism.NOw what is cold war ? of corse intelligence agencies games to anull enemies is cold war.But Afganistan changed the cold war philosphy into proxy war game.Or in laymans language the mercenary style gang war but played by nations through Intelligence agencies.MOney pumped in secretly and arms smuggled in clandestine manner.Yes CIA were able to send a future potential US President in Senior Gerorge Bush to China as top Diplomat. To understand China better and have better understanding with China when he becomes the president.....Of course he became the President of USA and yes US_China relations culminated into better trade with China and in building China the third largets world Economy. China learnt these games and slowly started influencing decesions of Government through CIA and it appears that China has suceeded in Influencing CIA policy with that good old relations developed coolly and calmly.Now It appears CIA has been able to influence Obama administration to send Future Potential Republican Presidential canditate to be the next US Ambassador to China.Jaswant Singh the ex Foreign Minister of India once rightly said that US government is Run by CIA and not the political leadership. They come and Go with elections but CIA remains the same. So now it appears China;s hand is always there to design CIA policies.SO if the present Ambassador designate to China become future Presdent of USA then history repeats. Till he will have son like Junior Bush to tell that China is not trustworthy so try having relation with India.This is the culture which has been learnt by ISI and of course Pak Army.That is why unstability in Pakistan because Poor Pakistan doesnt have that vibrant and mature Democracy that it can hide its games. US and China both were instrumental in making ISI into this .Now it is not hidden. The President in Pakistan and Foreign Office in US is saying so. I think China is smartest of all They have done the same but they are not speaking because they are not a democracy.They have continuity in Political leadership.So Intelligence agency and Politics in China go hand in hand. While in US,,, president says something else in Elections but when intalled on post then the poor man is made to change his stances. Of course if someone LIke Kennedy dares then???.
Ok now again coming to the US policy in SEA ie South East Asia.Yes slowly China is becoming powerfull and the US has quickly started bending on the knees.The President is new and Good hearted. He is not a person who can play games.So CIA is assertig more and if CIA then of course Proxy China????.Read above. The think tank in USA is getting influenced because of their child hood instincts their fear is inluencing China tilt. The Hidden complex about loss in perl harbour and loss in Vietnam is among the generation who are grown up now and has become think tanks. This was clear from the Article other day written my Mr. Richard Haas written in Foreign affairs column and News weeek. I read it on the net.That clearly showed the fearfull mindset of Mr. Haas. His article wanted full integration of China and not isolation. Now Mr. Haas who wants isolation of China. And for Gods Sake does he think USA can do any more to Isolate China from the world at large.When every other day the News is coming that China has even percolated in the secret computer network of USA. Pakistan tried supporting terrorism and now terrorism is haunting Pakistan. CIA tried Hands with China and now???.
But what has been slowly pouring out of USA now is that it is falling empire.The Think tank and the leadership is lowering its image in world.AS if USA is becoming thirld world country.Please dont do this to USA I like the democracy and hence USA.
Now Coming to Mr. Ganguly and Mr Kapur please let USA and CIA try their games in AFPAK alone. China has now trapped USA in its own trap. Now China knows that USA wants to stay in AFPAK just to Encircle China. But the cunning leadership in Pakistan is befooliing US administration to let US engage more. Chinese influence in CIA is forcing US leadership to be with Pakistan otherwise China will have its hold on Pakistan. This is USA falling into China whirlpool. Now USA will not be able to come out of this Quagmire. Pakistan will not Help USA as Pakistan knows in another twenty years if China kept on influencing CIA decesion making this way then USA will become third rate power and instead of USA encircling China it willl be China encircling USA in American sub continent.For the time being think Tank in USA is getting overshadowed by China. oh God what a way to turn the tables. America will face China in afganistan the way Russia faced USA there.So dont worry. Go and read the article written by Mr. RobertD Kaplan on Foreign affairs. It gives insight into Indian Ocean. If US think tank will not pay attention to such facts they are bound to fail. Pearl policy of China in Indian ocean is not only for India it is for USA also. Dont think China is only encircling India but more so in the guise of encircling India,, China is reducing the Influence of USA in the region. You know it is the trade route. And China knows from history how the to controll Sillk route. Now if USA under the influence of chinese motivated policy of CIA is falling into a trap laid by China , then another ten years USA will be no power to Reckon with, If USA can ally with India it is good for USA. It can take Indian oceans example.i can assure if USA willl come out of chinese trap then good for US or God Bless USA and good luck.
India knows China is its adversary and India wants to fight back. We are willing to help USA to come out of AFPAK Trap of China.But in return USA doesnt want to stand with India, NOw we are fast developing economy if Chinese control in USA went on like this USA will not be in a place to help India. India will have to stand on its own feet. I am sure Inida will do that . We in India also need to get rid of slave mentality and not beg alms for our security.,Privatise Defence production In India. Private industry in india has sufficient funds, Indian doesnt shy from dying in battle field we have martial races in Marathas,Sikh. Rajputs,Dogras,Gurkhas,etc to fight for India. Take care of these races. Just giver them material ,motivation and technology.And if USA still want to partner with India it is alright. We assure USA we will fight for our friend in US and save from the trap in AFPAK.But first let it come out of the Chinese mindset.

Like Israel, India is feeling insecure about the USA's new foreign policy moves which are based on 'realpolitik': China's growing economic power and the demographic realities of Islam have brought that about. The American President is only acknowledging a reality that India would do well to ponder. As India revives economically in the coming years many of its present fears will fade away provided we engage positively with our neighbors - we cannot be eternally enemies - look what happened between France and Germany and even Britain - centuries of war. Do we want that ? Can we allow that to happen in the nuclear age ?

Nationalist rhetoric, both in China and India, is deplorable, arising from their weaknesses.

Today, France and Germany are not just friendly neighbors but depend on eachother for their security and economic prosperity. Let that be a model and lesson for us.

Pakistan came into existence when Mr.Jinnah lost his close friendship with Indian National Congress. Till then Jinnah never favored Two Nation theory. West Always wanted to create a buffer state somewhere between China and India so that if need be they can ally with this Nation and Take care of China in Future. Second by product was that with division in India, the Nation will get reduced in Size. Thirdly west also wanted to appease Islam to bring an Image that UK is not Anti Muslim and so is the Christianity. No doubt the Nations are created with mass movements and so emotional issue was created to have Separate State carved out of India for Muslims. India was divided into two and then Pakistan got further bifurcated. When Bangladesh emerged on the Map of the world. Here ends the story when three nations are there, with diverse and divided views and poor Economies. India has gained momentum and has raised itself above the two other economies. But yes the Democracies have their inherent problems. Such Problems show their extreme effects in democracies with developing economies. So is the case for India. But trust democracy and hence India will emerge stronger in long term. Yes some think tank in the world more so in the west feels that India’s Multicultural society and multi religious culture hampers the development. Again yes, in short term it appears so. But in Long term the Nation India will gain from it. Intercultural relations in India are still best in the world. We are becoming a tolerant society where we have started respecting each others values. Leaving behind our Negative effects of Diversity we have started concentrating as a Nation looking for progress and Vibrant Democracy. Three or four examples can be given in support of this in short.
1. When Prime Minister Vajpayee Lost Majority in the parliament by just one vote. He instead of creating scene and putting things in abeyance resigned and went for elections, thus reposing faith in democracy. On the contrary during hung situation in Bush Gore Elections the world saw different picture of Democracy.
2. The recent elections where people voted for stability at the federal Government level and gave a thumping mandate to the Incumbent UPA government.
3. Since the inception of Democracy in India there has been no Army control and it has always been the civilian control. Even during emergency During Indira Gandhi’s regime it was she who spearheaded it and not the Army. It is again a long story and CIA would know batter.
4. The Economic reforms ushered in by Indian Government under the leadership of Mr. Narsimha Rao ably assisted by Dr. Manmohan Singh are other example of India’s path to progress.
All these factors will show that slowly but steadily India is progressing onwards a growing democracy and it is that sure one day India will attain the Maturity into a developed Nation. If the leading world Democracy in USA keep pursuing with democratic values and not side with dictatorships, world can assure itself of having a democratic, equitable, peaceful, and long lasting world. Hope the Leadership in USA keeps itself Rooted in Democratic values and the much highlighted CHANGE,
IT his agreeable in short term that china may progress more in comparison to India It is also a fact that China is way ahead in Economic and military power presently. Yes Democracies as said above have their inherent weaknesses in bud. But surely India will come out of it and set an example of successful plural society. There is proverb available in Indian Subcontinent that Falling arms always come to the body. Divided we may appear but in case of external design we always stand united. Rather the internal fights make us practice to use these experiences more strongly when external designs come to play. The Recent election in India where incumbent UPA government has been re-elected to power with increased majority is a most astounding example of Indian strength.
Left Parties tried their best to create a situation where a third front may be created to have a disjointed unstable government in India. The long drawn perception which went into the voter’s mind of the Nation was that some external agencies are trying to impose their ideology in India so that they can block Indian progress and Rule by proxy. This went against Left openly. It was felt among literate youth of India as if China or some other Nation through left are trying to Destabilize India and not allow proceeding on to the route to progress. It’s this Hobnobbing of Ms.Mayawati a Dalit Party leader with left that she suffered loses in the elections. Similar posture during elections by Mr. Sharad Powar the NCP president reduced the clout of NCP.
So beware, Indian Democracy is coming out of its childhood. Now all this is a slap on the face of the think tank who says that the Inherent local issues will lead to the fall in the economic progress of the country. Sorry I took a long route to tell the reader/authors/think tanks etc that one day India being a democracy will be more powerful Nation then China. It is also sure that after becoming powerful when China under the natural cause will change its administrative style to democracy then there will be powerful divisions and that suffering will be huge. That time India will be natural super power and a vibrant democracy. Yes slow and steady rise.
Now turning back to the focus on India Pakistan relations let me tell you that Pakistan got into this mode of ISI- Army controlled Government when Russia arrived at the doorsteps of Afghanistan. The shock which China and USA got when Russia entered into Afghanistan was literally unbearable. To my mind it was devastating for both the Nations. It is here when China and USA started Pumping Money, material, manpower and defense technology into Pakistan. This is acceptable that the knee jerk reaction of these two nations brought Pakistan into limelight. Here is how the Pakistan ISI and Army learnt to play the bigger games and blackmail USA. I have not mentioned here china since Pakistan was unwilling to do same with China as it shared borders so they had to choose between Fist and the God. After having learnt this proxy war battle tactics from USA and China then Pakistan started applying the same to India. There is no doubt about the fact that USA gave tacit support to Pakistan. Willingly or unwillingly the future will judge or the research can say so. If some inferences can be drawn then one can say with some authenticity that India’s closeness with USSR was always a flashpoint or bone of contention between India and USA...So one can infer that may be USA went against India to support Pakistan. I am sure US political think tank may have had dichotomous viewpoint but they did not then come out openly against it. India kept on facing terrorism while USA and West kept mum, till they themselves found in a situation that the fire which they raised in South East Asia is giving them heat. It is here when this heat started melting the rigid minds of US think tank.
One another point which can’t be missed is that during this course of support and interaction with Pakistan administration slowly but steadily US found that Pakistan is getting closer to China then US itself. It is here that USA’s worries started. It is also coincidental that by the time Mr. Senior Bush had left the scene as President. The senior Bush having remained Diplomat in China made all effort to bring wisdom and wealth to CHINA. India was never the close ally of USA then. Then CIA had the influential role in the decision making of US administration. But with Coming of Bill Clinton and some part of intelligence inputs about South East Asia that Pakistan has gone closer to China then USA. That China is helping Pakistan in Developing its Nuclear and Conventional war potential more then what USA is doing. Some Think tank in USA in order remains close to Pakistan tried giving tacit support to clandestine acquiring of Nuclear and missile Technology to Pakistan. USA very well knew that China is using two pronged policy. On one side it was helping North Korea and on other side it was helping Pakistan to acquire Nuclear and Missile Tech. China allowed this shared technology transfer to get exchanged between North Korea and Pakistan. It happened in Full view of CIA.
When one of the European Nation pointed it out to the US administration, that Nation was told to keep quite with admission that CIA knew it. Her is where AQ Khan Emerged in OPEN. Some Part of the USA administration did recommend leaving Pakistan as a spent force and advised to let Pakistan fall under its own weight. This is where India started asserting its influence with USA. It is based on mutual sharing that China is growing in stature and no doubt it will be threat to US and India both. It is also now coming in open that the aggressive designs of China are heading towards what was thought in past. India‘s relation with USA improved during Clinton administration. Of course NDA government responded positively by starting to proceed towards USA dock yard of Nations.
But this progress in relation got Fillip when Jr Bush came on the Scene. He was ably guided By His Father the Sr. Bush to keep a watch over China and don’t go completely in for CIA recommendation. Thanks to Bush-n-Bush combination that India- US relations were taken to new heights. Bush was well informed by his Father that China is no more trust worthy and that Chinese are slowly rising to pose a threat to The Might of USA. It is here that Bush India relation grew. It is also felt that In Sonia Gandhi they find a prominent ally for the west.
Come what may the affair with India grew politically.But India knowing well that In US administration CIA plays an important role, failed to have strong relation with CIA manpower. On the other hand China knowing same used it proximity with senior bush to gain its access to the CIA Manpower. This has now started reflecting openly in both ways. One that Chinese influence on CIA is bringing USA into trap In Pakistan and Afghanistan... The quagmire from where USA will never be able to pull out but suffer defeat.
Yes if USA had some experienced President this may have got averted. But unfortunately or by design USA now has an incumbent President who is Inexperienced to Judge the think tank in CIA and of course Pentagon. One handicap with Mr. Barrack Obama is that he is a great soul and a thorough statesman. But caught in the experienced bureaucracy in CIA and Pentagon. These two organizations are ably supported by some elements in the US think Tank. It is felt that some of these elements have motivated Brains and China is behind it no doubt. Sorry, but keep this article in Mind so that when in future somebody reads it, it will be the gospel truth. It will be so if the Incumbent president failed to take corrective measures and if he fails to escape the dragon-net in His own administration.
If the president is Sending future Republican presidential candidate to China as an Ambassador then he must keep in mind that history is being repeated qua the Senior Bush. But the difference here is that Sr Bush was sent their based on the then National Interest OF USA. But Mr. Obama needs to Judge now as to on whose recommendation He is sending the Nominated Ambassador to China. If he is following some china town think tank inside and outside CIA then Mr. President needs to either correct this blunder or get briefing from Senior Bush. But best will be if he takes his own decision and set the agenda of change in right perspective.
When ever one goes to any of the China Towns there is distinct smell coming from there. Mr. Barrack Obama please you are sitting in the white house, so please see if the similar China Town like smell is not present in your Administration. As a hint please check CIA, Pentagon and the so called Think tank. Or use your own sources to judge the smell. If you get the smell then act and please don’t get confused by the perfume of intellectual motivation of the biased intelligentsia. Recently it has come out in open that China did percolate into secret computer networks in US Administration. This is a big lead for your good self Mr. President. I am sure great leaders may have to make sacrifices to save the Nations. Abraham Lincon made the sacrifice and is still living.
Mr. President In this back drop you are answerable to your conscience as to why do you changed your stand on AID to Pakistan. What you said during your election campaign is not reflecting in your present decision on AID to Pakistan. It for Mr. President to have his own judgment if the food of Pakistani dish is not being cooked with Chinese recipe. He also needs to see the cooks who are cooking this.
I leave here and come to South East Asia and Indian Ocean because the dish so cooked will be served here. But beware it may have stupefying affect on the US and NATO forces deployed in this region. It has been observed that for the VIP’s dish before being served it is tested by professional doctors. But you can’t ask an orhtho Surgeon to do so. You need to have a doctor who can test the Dish for any poisonous or harmful element.
Now in South East Asia and Indian Ocean US can trust such a doctor in India This country has variety and knowledge to test it. India is also experienced to know all this. We have the cooks in North east who are like Chinese. We have cooks in North who are like Pakistanis and Afghans. So trust me we can test your recipe for this region in a better way. But it is only possible if an affair with India remains intact. It is only Mr. Obama, Mr. Joe Bidden and Ms. Hillary Clinton to sit as a troika and decide. Does USA want to end the affair with India under the influence of some motivated elements in the administration? Or take the decision by three of you to go ahead and carry on the affair with India.
In return it is assured that US will be saved from the quagmire of South East Asia jointly created by Pakistan and China. The Bond between China and Pakistan is Unbreakable. But India can play a role where US presence will be assured here in a style and way that this bonding remains surrounded by the elements that the said bond be turned into soft and non lethal. Mr. Obama, try to have more knowledge about Indian Culinary and cuisine. The condiments here can change the taste of any Chinese recipe into non stingy and can even change the color and odor. It may sound that India has RAW cooks but come on try them they are not the raw as you find in dictionary.
It is therefore strongly recommended that Mr. Obama open up your sense of smell and taste buds and judge by yourself as to what is happening around. I don’t think you feel threatened by the presence of Mr. J Biden and Ms. Hillary. It has been experienced here also that when senior most Politician feels dwarfed in the presence of strong colleagues then bureaucracy dominates. Mr. President needs to identify his clan with one hint that bureaucrats are never a political clan. They have to change colors like reptiles. Good they are so trained, but they do become dangerous if from lizards they become snakes. Children of Snake can never be friends. So, one need to identify the evolution pattern of Bureaucrats from Lizards to snakes inn US Administration too.
I am none to advise your Highness, but for the Sake of the Nation under your command and for the sake of the peace in the world you need to find and decide. Democracies are saviors of Peace and not the dictatorships. Trusting Political colleagues with sound intelligence is better sense.Having said so, it is therefore strongly recommended and advised that the affair with India is important. It can save USA from the quagmire and trap in South East Asia laid by China-Pakistan Nexus. Take India and Afghanistan together and carry forward the affair with India and in return enjoy the Indian Ocean for free.
