Gallery: 90 Years of Covers
In the summer of 1993, the magazine debuted a completely revamped design (and published one of its most popular and controversial articles of all time). Bigger headlines, a new logo, a revamped colophon, and a specially-designed typeface popped on glossy white paper. In the very next issue, we swapped the white for the Foreign Affairs blue that we still use today.
