The Japanese Are Coming

As of 1973, two thirds of Japanese manufacturing operations abroad were in Asia. Lately, Japanese multinationals have been moving into Latin America, North America and Europe. This volume analyzes the causes and consequences of Japanese overseas investment, and concludes that the image of "the ugly Japanese" has unfortunately been firmly cemented abroad.
