Defending Europe in the 1990s: The New Divide of High Technology
St. Martin's, 1986, 136 pp.
The author, a professor at the U.S. Air Force Academy, makes the case for a stronger political-military-economic entity in Western Europe. He is a bit too optimistic. But in the process he examines the technological policies of Europe, noting the possibilities for dual commercial and military application, and he has some interesting comments about such interrelationships. Unlike most analyses, moreover, economics and security are integrated even though not at a deep level.
