Palestine And Israel: A Challenge To Justice
Duke University Press, 1990, 337 pp.
A combined historical and legal study covering the conflict over Palestine from its nineteenth century beginnings to the present day. Many of the legal points are quite valid, and there is no doubting the author's main point that the Palestine Arabs have been denied the right of self-determination. However, international law does not furnish any answers, and the whole book is so one-sided as to make it a contribution to continuing rancorous debate rather than to settlement.
