Miracle in Hellas: the Greeks Fight On
Macmillan, 1943, 263 pp.
A graphic story of Greek resistance against the aggression, first of Italy and then of Germany, during 1940-41, by a correspondent there at the time. The latter part of the book is an account of the desperate struggle waged by the Greek people against the Fascist and Nazi conquerors, based on information smuggled out of Greece.
