The former senator from Oklahoma proves to his own satisfaction that Russia and France had for many years prior to 1914 been plotting against the peace of the world. It may be doubted whether the book will convince many other people. It makes up in violence of statement what it lacks in sound critical scholarship, and will probably harm the cause of "revisionism" more than help it.
