Asia Reborn

By Marguerite E. B. Harrison
Harper, 1928
398 pp. $4.00

A popular survey of conditions in Asia since the recent national revivals. As the whole continent is discussed, from Asia Minor to Japan, the treatment sometimes seems superficial. There is nothing new in the book, but the oft-told story is presented readably, and the maps are well done.
