A Political Handbook of the World

By Malcolm W. Davis and Walter H. Mallory
Harvard and Yale University Presses, 1928
192 pp. $2.50

This handbook, published for the Council on Foreign Relations, represents careful and exhaustive work and should be very generally useful. It gives all the essential information of a political nature regarding every country of the world, except the United States. Most valuable is the enumeration of the various parties represented in the parliaments, the programs of these parties, and the survey of the press in the various countries.
