La Politica Estera Degli Stati Uniti

By Romolo Tritonj
Nuova Europa, 1932
310 pp.

This comes from the pen of the former Italian Consul-General in New York. There is nothing particularly novel about the material presented or about the author's viewpoint, but the book gives evidence of sound learning and is written throughout with fairness and understanding. It makes available to the Italian public a well-balanced account not only of the fundamentals of American policy but also of our special action in the Caribbean, in Latin America and in the Far East. There is also a good chapter on American relations with Italy.
