Half Way with Roosevelt

By Ernest K. Lindley
Viking, 1936
426 pp. $2.75

The author has been in continual contact with Mr. Roosevelt since he became governor of New York. Though he is on the staff of a Republican newspaper, his admiration for the President, already mirrored in two previous books, persists. This volume, with its clarity and detachment, is journalism at its best.
