By Friedrich Burgdörfer
Vowinckel, 1937, 536 pp

The author is a division director in the Statistisches Reichsamt and has written several works on population questions. In this volume, originally published in 1932 and here brought down to 1935, he examines, with an elaborate array of statistics, population trends in Germany and in Europe as a whole. He warns against the drop in birth rates, for which he offers remedies.
