A timely little book on Europe's Number One danger spot. Mr. Freund sees only two alternatives (unless the Czechs voluntarily become a vassal of Germany): either Hitler will foster a civil war in Czechoslovakia after the fashion of Spain, or he will commit an open act of aggression. He sees no possible compromise between Nazi ideology and Czech democracy.
