Souvenirs D'un Militant Socialiste

By Émile Vandervelde
Denoël, 1939
293 pp. $0.00

Vandervelde was a great Belgian as well as one of the leaders of the Socialist International. His memoirs thus have a dual importance. Unfortunately, his death in December 1938 prevented him from bringing them down to date, for the present volume closes with the Peace Conference in 1919.
