Prologue to War

By Elizabeth Wiskemann
Oxford University Press, 1940
332 pp. $3.00

A factual, authoritative investigation into the techniques of non-belligerent aggression employed by the Nazis to further their aims in southern and eastern Europe, by the author of "Czechs and Germans." Though this book was finished before the "undeclared war" became a declared one, its value has in no way been impaired, for the Nazi methods which it analyzes are still being used in neutral countries.
