A Foreign Policy for America

Mr. Beard is a recognized authority on American history, but he is obviously out of his depth in trying to understand what has been going on in the world at large during the last two decades. He suffers a further handicap in that his almost exclusively materialistic interpretation of history prevents him from appreciating the motives that guide most men, even in this day and age.
