Neither isolationism nor blind interventionism is a practical policy for the United States, according to the author. His own pattern for the world of tomorrow is based on a policy of "coöperative regionalism," which in effect means letting the totalitarian Powers divide the Eastern Hemisphere while we take over the Western.
