War in the Desert

By Raoul Aglion
Holt, 1941
317 pp. $2.75

This book bears evidence of having been prepared hastily but it contains some valuable information. The author was secretary of the French legation in Cairo, and in September 1940 he resigned to join the Free French movement. The most interesting part is the eyewitness account of the Allied conquest of Cyrenaica last winter.
