Italy from Within

By Richard G. Massock
Macmillan, 1943
400 pp. $3.00

The author was head of the Associated Press Bureau in Rome during the years just prior to Italy's declaration of war against the United States. His book has more historical perspective than that of his colleagues, the Packards of the United Press, but it is written with less zest and color. It will, however, be found to contain many interesting sidelights on the Fascist régime.
