The Air Offensive Against Germany

By Allan A. Michie
Holt, 1943
152 pp. $2.00

Another statement (more restrained than some) for the thesis that the way to put Germany out of business this year is by an all-out air attack as a prelude to an Allied invasion. The author reports on the damage already inflicted on Nazi-occupied Europe and exposes what he believes to be the influences which are impeding the full utilization of Allied air power. He is skeptical of the effectiveness of daylight precision bombing.
