Journey Among Warriors

Between November 1941 and April 1942 Miss Curie covered 40,000 miles on a trip, largely by air, to the battlegrounds of this war in Africa, the Near East, Russia, China and India. She not only interviewed many of the leading personages in those countries but observed the thousand and one small but important things which, when reduced to vivid descriptive writing, give the reader an intimate picture of what this war means to the ordinary individual.
