Lend-Lease: Weapon for Victory
Lend-Lease: Weapon for Victory
By Edward R. Stettinius
Macmillan, 1944, 358 pp

The author, now Under Secretary of State, until recently the administrator of the American lend-lease program, reveals in this important and well-written book much, though of course not all, of the story of lend-lease. He, however, throws little light on the perplexing problem of how to settle the obligations of the recipients after the war.
