The Six Weeks’ War: France May 10-June 25, 1940

Though the events of which he writes seem to have happened only yesterday, Mr. Draper has been remarkably successful in synthesizing all available information about the fall of France into a comprehensible and credible narrative. This is one of the better books of the year.
