Civil Aviation and Peace
Civil Aviation and Peace
By J. Parker Van Zandt
Brookings Institution, 1944, 157 pp

This is Volume II in the series "America Faces the Air Age," which began with the author's "The Geography of World Air Transport," reviewed here in January 1945. In the present work Mr. Van Zandt gives an authoritative treatment of such matters as the control of civil aviation and the relation of general economic conditions to the volume of air traffic. There are valuable statistical tables in the appendix.
