A young Nigerian, part of whose education was obtained at American universities, presents a very interesting picture of the ferment of ideas at work in West Africa. He demands Nigerian independence within the near future and hopes this and other aspirations of the colonial peoples of Africa can be attained without drenching that continent in the blood of both whites and blacks.
