Building Lenin's Russia
Building Lenin's Russia
By Simon Liberman
University of Chicago Press, 1945, 228 pp

Liberman, a Menshevik before the Russian Revolution, collaborated with Lenin's régime as a commercial expert. This personal account of his own experiences and of his acquaintance with the leaders of the Revolution casts many interesting sidelights on Lenin's methods for effecting the transition from capitalism to Communism, notably by the New Economic Policy.
