The United States and Britain

By H. G. Nicholas
University of Chicago Press, 1975
195 pp. $10.00

This is the first volume in a new series entitled "The American Foreign Policy Library," edited by Mr. Sumner Welles and Professor Donald C. McKay of Harvard University. In his customarily lucid style, Professor Brinton sketches a picture of modern Britain and of her relations with the United States -- economic, political, cultural. In the appendix there are "some vital facts about Britain" and suggested readings.
