I Saw the New Poland
I Saw the New Poland
By Anna Louise Strong
Little, Brown, 1946, 280 pp.

Miss Strong has lived in Russia for a number of years and has pretty well identified herself with the Soviet outlook. Between the end of 1944 and the middle of 1945, she made three trips into liberated Poland. Without accepting all of her judgments on Poland's politics, or sharing her enthusiasm for the Lublin régime, one can nevertheless learn from her much about personalities and conditions in that country.
