Parachute to Berlin

By Lowell Bennett
Vanguard, 1945
252 pp. $2.50

Mr. Bennett, a correspondent for the International News Service, was forced to bail out from an R.A.F. bomber over Berlin in December 1943. This exciting book contains an account of his various attempts to escape and what he saw of conditions in wartime Germany. He had an opportunity to check up on some of the Allied claims concerning aerial damage to the Nazis' war production machine and found them exaggerated.
