The Story of Woodrow Wilson
The Story of Woodrow Wilson
By Ruth Cranston
Simon and Schuster, 1945, 478 pp

In preparing this full-length biography Mrs. Cranston had the advantages of personal acquaintance with the Wilson family, including the President himself, and of access to certain of his private papers not consulted by previous writers. Her approach is definitely that of a warm admirer of Wilson and a staunch defender of his policies, though she is by no means an uncritical apologist.
