Suitors and Suppliants

By Stephen Bonsal

Prentice-Hall, 1946, 301 pp.

In his "Unfinished Business" Colonel Bonsal gave us portions from his diary concerning the policies of the Big Powers at and immediately after the Paris Peace Conference. The present volume relates his experiences, as a deputy to Colonel House, in dealing with the representatives of the smaller Powers and struggling nationalities of Europe and Asia who came to Paris in pursuit of "self-determination."
