Peoples Speaking to Peoples

By Llewellyn White and Robert D. Leigh

University of Chicago Press, 1946, 121 pp.

This is the first of six projected reports to be issued by the Commission on Freedom of the Press, created some two years ago with a grant from Time and operated under the auspices of the University of Chicago. The subject matter treated, of necessity rather summarily, covers the whole field of international communications (including, for example, the movies) and their political and economic implications.
