Germany's Underground
Germany's Underground
By Allen Welsh Dulles
Macmillan, 1947, 207 pp

Mr. Dulles was head of the very important OSS office in Bern, Switzerland, during the war and held in his hands many threads leading to anti-Nazi agents and to the underground movements in the Axis-dominated countries. In this fascinating little volume he describes the various groups and conspiracies organized in Germany, even before the war began, for the purpose of overthrowing Hitler. Most interesting is his account of the plots hatched within the Army and the Party itself. Mr. Dulles is now President of the Council on Foreign Relations.
