Palestine Mission: a Personal Record
Palestine Mission: a Personal Record
By Richard Crossman
Harper, 1947, 210 pp

Mr. Crossman, assistant editor of The New Statesman and Nation and ringleader of the Labor M.P's opposing Bevin's foreign policy, was a member of the Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry that examined the Jewish problem in Europe and Palestine last year. His account of the labors of that group will not please any of the protagonists in the Palestine drama, for he sees the merits of each conflicting case. He believes partition to be the only possible way out of the present deadlock.
