M. Comnène occupied among other offices that of Rumanian Foreign Minister and President of the League of Nations Council. This is not a systematic treatise, being rather a running commentary on events and persons during 1938. Part I covers the period up through Munich; Part II deals with the weeks immediately following that crisis, and consists largely of excerpts from the author's diary.
