This is the ninth volume to appear in Kerner's "United Nations Series" and like the others is the work of a panel of writers and treats a wide spectrum of subject matter, on the whole with authority and objectivity. It is, of course, too much to hope that the interpretation of recent political events will please all parties, in particular the Serbian nationalists.
