Education for a New Japan
Education for a New Japan
By Robert King Hall
Yale University Press, 1949, 503 pp

He very much doubts that the reforms put into effect under MacArthur will touch the basically authoritarian and chauvinistic nature of Japanese educational philosophy and expresses disappointment at the failure to romanize the written language of Japan.
